The gap was not technology. It was capability and structure.
Andrew McPhee spent over 25 years inside traditional financial services, building trading platforms, leading digital transformations, and working with institutions on both sides of the market. When the digital asset sector emerged, he moved into it directly, working with leading crypto platforms and observing the same dynamic from the other side.
What he saw was consistent: the professionals responsible for client outcomes had no structured way to engage with digital assets. Not because they lacked interest. Because the capability, governance frameworks and operational infrastructure simply did not exist in a form that worked for regulated advice practices.
Synergist exists to build that infrastructure, education first, then policy, then implementation, in a way that is independent of any product or platform outcome.
